2nd Class have been very busy learning about the artist Pablo Picasso. We looked
at some of his artwork and listened to the story “The girl with the ponytail”. We discovered that Picasso loved how children used lots of colours and shapes in their pictures.
We learnt that he liked how children’s pictures did not look real and called his style of art Cubism. In art, we explored shape and colour just like Picasso and made a portrait using cut out shapes in various colours and sizes. We have them displayed outside our classroom to show everyone our Picasso Art.
