3rd Class Blog

We had a very busy and exciting end to the year with lots of activities alongside our weekly routines.

After mid-term, we enjoyed Science Week, where we carried out fun experiments exploring magnetism, gravity, air resistance and chemical reactions.

We continued our GAA lessons on Mondays, this time with a focus on hurling, and enjoyed Zumba on Wednesdays.

We loved going down to help Ms. Spillane’s Junior Infants with their reading and invited them to a special Reading Café in our classroom at the end of term.

We also kept practising our Gaeilge and both 3rd classes enjoyed a Comhrá Caife during the final week.

Our class was lucky to learn and perform the song “Everyone of Us”, written by Vladimir’s dad, at our Christmas concert and for the whole school.

We also took part in a litter pick, attended the 1st Class Nativity, made artwork for the Christmas Fair and took part in all the fun activities there.

We had a very special visit from Santa and enjoyed a Christmas jumper walk to finish off a fantastic term!
