4th class began the New Year by writing down our dreams and wishes for 2022. In English we learned about the famous artist Claude Monet. We studied some of his art pieces including 'Poppy Field' and 'Impression, Sunrise'. We looked at Monet's use of light in 'Impression Sunrise’, in particular the brightness of the sun. When we turned the picture to black and white the sun virtually disappeared! Of course, we took inspiration from Monet to create our own art pieces.
4th class also started GAA training in January with Passage West GAA club which we are thoroughly enjoying!
